Landry's, Inc., is an American, privately owned, multi-brand dining, hospitality, entertainment and gaming corporation headquartered in Houston, Texas. Landry's, Inc. owns and operates more than 600 restaurants, hotels, casinos and entertainment destinations in 35 states and the District of Columbia. The company also owns and operates numerous international locations. It is the second largest seafood dining chain after Red Lobster.

An upset former employee said this on Indeed "Let me start off by saying that working for Landry’s is a complete mistake, to them you are nothing but a number that they could give a squat about you, this is a great place to work if you enjoy having to put up with clueless management and disrespectful coworkers who belittle you, the hours are horrible you literally have no life working for a company like this. Don’t waste your time and energy working for a company like Landry’s they will own your life".

General Manager (GM) says

"This place fosters and promotes a toxic and hostile work environment. Anyone that is thinking about working here go elsewhere unless you like cutthroating people and being cutthroated.NoneEverything"

N/A (Former Employee) says

"Let me start off by saying that working for Landry’s to them you are nothing but a number that they could give a squat about you, this is a great place to work if you enjoy having to put up with clueless management and disrespectful coworkers who belittle you, the hours are horrible you literally have no life working for a company like this. Don’t waste your time and energy working for a company like Landry’s they will own your life.Absolutely nothingLiterally everything, no life, no holidays off"

Restaurant Associate (Former Employee) says

"I worked at 3 of their locations 2 as a busser and 1 as a dishwash. As a dishwasher the pay was better. But not enough. As the work was tiresome. I was often doing 3 different task while trying to stay on top of the dish pit. There was also somewhat of a language barrier. However if you enjoy a stressful fast paced environment. This is for you. If you're in it for money look elsewhere."

Chef Manager (Current Employee) says

"It's the companies success not yours, it prioritizes itself your just a do'er no support, they support themselves, there is no success with this company or future"

Busser (Current Employee) says

"totalmente estresante y no valoran a los empleados"

Hostess (Former Employee) says

"If you are looking for a career Landry's is not the place if you are looking for a job don't expect any appreciation or respect from this company no rewards are complements will be given"

Server (Current Employee) says

"I have been in the restaurant business for years, I have never in my life been a part of something so wrong, so horrible. You are just their little worker bee, make no mistake about that. They don't care, it's all about the $$, their's, not yours."

Manager (Current Employee) says

"Watch your back. If your not the Right” fit you will not succeed. My leadership team is shady and will throw you under the bus to make themselves look good Money is good, but you pay for it with your integrity and your respect. Cause there is none. If your a brown nose and a standard preaching manager (even if they don’t do it) you will be successful"

Server (Former Employee) says

"Management is horrible and only cares about meeting numbers so the staff is often thrown under the bus for problems that management creates by themselves. Restaurant is ran horribly and nobody does a thing to fix it. There’s a reason that they are always hiring and it’s because it’s so bad nobody wants to stay. You have been warned.NoneShifts that are consistently horrible due to the way the restaurant is ran."

Server (Former Employee) says

"there's absolutely nothing positive you can say about this restaurant 40 years in the business and this had to be the worst place I've ever worked at quit after 3 weeks"

Line Cook (Current Employee) says

"Everything was good until landrys bought out the former owners (Restaurants Unlimited Incorporated) Anyone who was on full time is now part time, they tried to cut everyones pay but due to Oregon state laws it prevented them from doing so. Also no over time for anyone and no holiday pay. The insurance went from 98$ from Blue Cross & Shield to almost 200$ per paycheck through Cigna ."

Electro Mechanical Tech (Former Employee) says

"No paid vacation No paid time off Worked over 2 1\2 years there Low wages Bad managers Bad leaders Terrible company No work comp when injured on the job with witnesses. I would never recommend Landrys."

Security Guard (Unarmed) says

"The managers who aren’t in your department keep trying to “help” you by yelling at you. Worse place to work. Disgusting workplace favoritism, hours are not worth a thought. When you do get hours they don’t care if you have prior engagements that you made them painfully aware of. I enjoyed the first two weeks of working there, past that it’s horrible, they say there is no tolerance for bullying but the managers are the real bullysOther co-workers care for one another and help out when neededManagement, hours, the discount program, the lack of care for ones well being."

Server (Former Employee) says

"Servers are worked to death to do sidework, and threatened with reduced hours if they do not make enough in tips or work off the clock to cut labor costs. Employees are encouraged to use other server's swipe cards to avoid paying overtime."

N/A (Former Employee) says

"No PTO sick, no break time, no tuition reimbursement, no good health insurance, not pay well, no culture, charge you more for food, very minimum PTO vacation, Aggressive corporate, too many lies,"

Server (Current Employee) says

"Do not.. Work at this company.. No breaks on long shifts..the management think they are demi Gods..hope corporate just show up and.not inform them in advance for visits..then they will see the real reality of the restaurants operations."

Bartender (Former Employee) says

"Management staff rude and unprofessional! No faith in new employees... Expect too much from new hires. I was fired on my week of training for not moving like a robot... If you are new to a place you will obviously move slover than the seasoned employees.Free foodEverything is awful"

Hostess (Former Employee) says

"Horrible, crowded place to work and they don't care that you have a life outside of work. Just a part time college job is fine but do not make this place your life.the people sometimeseverything else"

Games Attendant (Former Employee) says

"I would roughly only see my manager once every couple of hours and was not able to ask questions when needed. The other staff members of the Kemah Boardwalk were kind and that was the only good thing I could say about this job,"

Team Leader (Former Employee) says

"only work here if you need a job. Personally anyother place is better I worked at the boardwalk and the people were fun but the job kinda sucks being outside all the time."

Laura Winstel says

"I paid $1,307.09 to Bargain Gift Card for for 5 gift cards on 5/29/19. I contacted them 6/29/19 when I realized all gift cards had a zero balance. They responded 7/1/19 asking for order numbers which I provided 7/13/19. I never heard from them again."

David Marin says

"I got burned bought a 68 dollars card for KONA grill and I got burned . It has zero balance."

Karen Tirabassi-Hahn says

"I purchased over three thousand dollars worth of Home Depot gift cards. I used all but $250 worth right away no problem. A few months later I went to use the balance of them and all of them had been depleted to ZERO. I contacted the FL Attorney General. They sent me a letter that they were going to contact Bargain Gift Card asking them for a resolution. If they don't get in contact t with me or the Attorney general's office they will just close the case. That seems ridiculous....why would BGC even bother to respond. There's repercussion if they don't....just smh."

Chip says

"I bought 350 Dollars of gift cards from bargain gift card. I did not use them right away, but upon buying them I checked the balances and they were all good' Now Bargain gift cards site is down and there number is disconnected and none of the cards have a balance, I got burned'' The moral of the story is never buy more gift cards that you can use immediately However runs the company needs to be locked up '' Also I had some fraud on the same credit card that I used buying the gift cardsfor almost 1000 Dollars right after I bought my gift cards from Bargain Gift card' But I have no proof that the 2 are related ,but I am very suspicious''' BEWARE''"
